Chapter 01
Hand wash, not a tunnel wash
A tunnel wash drags the same brushes across every car that comes through it, dirt and grit included, and that's exactly what puts fine swirl marks into a clear coat over time. Every wash at the shop is done by hand instead, so the only thing touching the paint is a clean mitt and fresh water, one panel at a time.
That's the difference between a car that just looks clean and one that's actually been cared for. It's also why paint that already carries swirls needs to be corrected before anything else goes over it, a ceramic coat included.

The package ladder, Base to Ultimate
The menu starts at the Base Detail and works up through Interior Detail, Exterior Detail and Full Detail, each one covering more of the vehicle than the last. All of it is priced as a starting point, since a two-door coupe and a crew cab truck don't take the same amount of time.
The Premium Detail adds a claybar on top of the Full Detail, which pulls embedded contamination out of the paint that washing alone won't touch. The Ultimate Detail goes a step further with a full polish after the clay, working out the fine scratches and haze a clay treatment can leave behind and bringing the gloss and depth back into the paint.

Interior, engine bay and headlights
Interior work on the Full Detail and up covers seats, carpets and door panels, vacuumed and wiped down rather than just the dash and cup holders. The engine bay gets cleaned too, degreased and rinsed, because a detail that stops at the hood latch is only half finished.
